These meads were light in flavor and perfumy and did not have that great authentic honey smell<br>or rich honey flavor, which in my opinion, is what mead is known for. I would skip the meadery and go<br>straight to <a href=\"https:\/\/bfsbeer.com\/\">Birds Fly South Brewery<\/a>!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Birds Fly South Ale Project<\/strong><br>This is a cool farmhouse brewery with a ton of space for seating inside and outside, kids and dogs are<br>welcome. Live music on Saturdays, there was a really good solo guitarist that we really enjoyed. The<br>owners, Shawn and Lindsay Johnson who started as home brewers, have created an eclectic beer menu<br>with some very interesting blends that they refer to as \u201cwild and funky\u201d. This is not your standard beer<br>menu but pick one to try and you will be amazed. I was.<br>I tried \u201cFlowers for Brains Maibock\u201d which was refreshingly delicious; light and crisp with a floral note<br>that I can only describe as lavender.
