This 1924 mill was The Southern Bleachery (an industrial textile bleaching mill) and Piedmont Print Works that has stood the test of time, through the great depression and WWII, to became <strong><a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/www.taylorsmill.community\/\" target=\"_blank\">Taylors Mills<\/a><\/strong> which now hosts <strong><a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"http:\/\/www.13stripesbrewery.com\" target=\"_blank\">13 Stripes Brewery<\/a><\/strong>, <strong><a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"http:\/\/www.thefarehouse.com\" target=\"_blank\">The Farehouse<\/a><\/strong>, <strong><a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"http:\/\/www.theblueoxhh.com\" target=\"_blank\">The Blue Ox Hatchett House<\/a><\/strong>, <strong><a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/www.pinkysrevenge.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">Pinky\u2019s Revenge Arcade<\/a><\/strong> (and lots of <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.taylorsmill.community\/tenants\">other <\/a><a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/www.taylorsmill.community\/tenants\" target=\"_blank\">stuff<\/a><\/strong>). We had a great time exploring this huge warehouse haven\u2026 you can just see and feel the history in these old bricks.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full is-resized\"><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/melsgrogblog.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/10\/Taylors-Mill-1.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-1322\" style=\"width:690px;height:849px\" width=\"690\" height=\"849\" srcset=\"https:\/\/melsgrogblog.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/10\/Taylors-Mill-1.png 420w, https:\/\/melsgrogblog.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/10\/Taylors-Mill-1-244x300.png 244w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 690px) 100vw, 690px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Our first stop was (of course) <strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.13stripesbrewery.com\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">13 Strips Brewery<\/a><\/strong> for an excellent <strong>Southern Street Belgian Triple<\/strong> and then<br>went next door to <strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.thefarehouse.com\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">The Farehouse<\/a><\/strong> for dinner. The entire menu looked appetizing but we decided on the<br>shrimp &amp; grits, and the smoked pork belly &amp; potatoes. I must say, I\u2019m from Colorado but DAMN the<br>South has good food!! WOW FUN.
