BEER…. My first memory was drinking Bud or Coors out of plastic pitchers in 3.2 bars in Colorado at age 18, it sucked and I swore it off forever! Now I don’t go anywhere that I don’t search for local (or distant) breweries to visit, I plan my vacations around them, I meet friends at breweries instead of restaurants, and as a single female, they are my “go to” for first dates because you can comfortably sit at a brewery and have a conversation AND because there is a wonderful world of amazing craft beer out there. What changed my mind about beer you ask? I tried FAT TIRE, a fantastic amber ale that began in a home brewers’ garage in Ft Collins, Colorado and grew into New Belgium Brewery, one of the largest breweries in the world. This is one of many great stories about beer, breweries and people. I travel ALOT and visit breweries across America in search of great craft beer so come with me and Let’s GET GROGGY WITH IT!!
