Gettin’ Groggy in Hendersonville, NC

Hendersonville, NC – Oh, sweet beer, there are several craft breweries in Hendersonville!! I cannot wait to make my way through them all but today we start at D9 Brewing Company.
D9 Brewery is already a favorite because they have created one of the best Browns I have tasted called “Brown Sugar Brown Cow”, this mocha brown ale is brewed with chocolate, vanilla and brown sugar. Its creamy and delicious with a kick of Columbian coffee that keeps you interested from start to finish!
“Because I Got Rye Barleywine” is also excellent. Typically, barley wines are high in alcohol content and rye flavor but this one is lighter and smoother and goes down way tooooo easy! D9 is a fun brewery where it’s easy to meet and talk to people, sit inside or on the outside patio (grab the garage door bar seats for best people viewing and socialness). After D9, walk a few steps down the street to POSTERO for dinner. A great restaurant that won’t break the bank. If you sit at the bar, you can watch expert bartenders beautifully craft their signature old fashioned, and see the fast pace of the kitchen (which always amazes me)! www.postero-hvl.com
